Declares for NFL Draft Ragas has decided to enter the 2021 NFL Draft, Tim Buckley of the Lafayette Daily Advertiser reports.

Impact Ragas had the option of returning to Louisiana-Lafayette for another season, but he's instead opted to try his chances at the professional level. He appeared in 11 games in 2020, carrying the ball 131 times for 760 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching nine of 13 targets for 106 yards and two scores. His best season with the Ragin' Cajuns came back in 2018, when he compiled 1,181 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.

Impact Both Ragas and Elijah Mitchell enjoyed excellent days on the ground in the bowl victory. Ragas completed his senior year ranking sixth in rushing yards in the Sun Belt, a remarkable feat considering he is technically the second-best running back on the roster.
