Announces transfer intentions Castellanos announced Thursday via his official "X" page that he is entering the transfer portal.

Impact Castellanos has made his transfer intentions official with Thursday's announcement will be looking elsewhere to play in 2025. The junior threw for 1,366 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions in eight games before being benched last week. Grayson James is expected to lead the offense for the remainder of the season.

Impact Castellanos was benched for the Eagles' game against SMU, and proceeded to step away from the team. Now, the quarterback has taken it a step further by planning to enter the transfer portal. He's not officially in the portal yet, but it seems as though he's played his last snap for Boston College. Grayson James figures to take over at gunslinger.

Impact The announcement comes not long after Castellanos was benched and Grayson James was named starter for Boston College's game Saturday at SMU. Week 11 was clearly a rough one for Castellanos, who not only suffered a lower-body injury but also got demoted after completing just two passes, throwing an interception and logging four total yards of offense.

Impact Castellanos came up limping after taking a hit, and didn't return to the game. Before exiting, he had thrown for 14 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He has yet to be officially ruled out, but it doesn't look particularly promising for the gunslinger to return.

Impact Castellanos bounced back after a couple down games. He used his legs much more on Friday with 15 rushes which opened things up a bit in the passing game as he tossed three touchdowns.

Impact Castellanos will have the week off after suffering an injury against Michigan State last week, paving the way for Grayson James to make his first start for the Eagles. It is unknown what injury the junior quarterback is suffering from, or what his expected return timetable is. Castellanos threw for 729 yards (45-of-70), 10 touchdowns and two interceptions across Boston College's first four games, adding on 112 yards and one score with his legs

Impact Castellanos had a bit of a down day in terms of output as the Eagles threw the ball just 16 times and running backs Treshaun Ward and Turbo Richard combined for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the running game. The great play from the running backs was a major reason for the low output day in the BC win over Michigan State.
