Cole Tabb - Huge workload in relief of Ford Tabb notched 28 carries for 118 yards and one touchdown and hauled in 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 20-13 victory versus Florida State.
Impact Tabb was thrust into a featured role early in the contest, as starting RB Micah Ford (leg) and starting QB Ben Gulbranson (knee) went down with injuries. It resulted in a ridiculous 28-carry game for Tabb, which shattered his previous high of 12 carries. He topped 100 yards for the first time in his career. Third-string RB Tuna Altahir (undisclosed) was also out. If Ford and Altahir continue to miss time, expect Tabb to see plenty of touches, though Sedrick Irvin could see a few more carries.

Elijah Brown - Pushed into starting role Brown was 6-for-12 passing for 71 yards during Saturday's 20-13 victory against Florida State.
Impact Brown wound up playing the entire second half after starter Ben Gulbranson went down with a knee injury. Brown, a redshirt freshman, lost the starting QB battle to Gulbranson in camp. He completed merely 50 percent of his passes and didn't score a touchdown Saturday, as Stanford leaned heavily on the run.

Impact Ford required assistance while leaving the field of play in the second quarter, and the star tailback didn't return to the contest. Ford turned eight carries into 25 yards and didn't score before exiting. Cole Tabb, in relief of Ford, handled 28 carries. Stanford's next game comes Saturday, Oct. 25 at Miami.
