Transfers to Chattanooga Sandgren will transfer to FCS Chattanooga, per TimesFreePress.com.

Impact Sandgren will hit the FCS ranks after spending the 2024 campaign with South Alabama. He reeled in 19 catches for 208 yards and one score this past fall, and will carry one season of eligibility with him to Chattanooga.

Targeted nine times Sandgren compiled three receptions (on nine targets) for 37 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-38 defeat against North Texas.

Impact Sandgren ranked third in targets on the day as Gio Lopez attempted 49 passes. However, Sandgren reeled in only three passes, including a 21-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter.
