Big showing in loss Mbake posted nine receptions (on 14 targets) for 68 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 30-29 loss to Arkansas State.

Impact Mbake found the end zone for the first time in 2025 on Saturday, while also posting a new high in receiving yards for a game with the 68, surpassing the previous high of 39 set on Nov. 22. JJ Kohl found Mbake in the third quarter for a 16-yard score. The Junior wideout finishes his first season with the Mountaineers, with a receiving line of 23-191-1.

Impact Mbake spent 2024 with Kilgore Junior College but is making his move back up to Division I football by joining Western Kentucky. The wideout is a former Arkansas product but never logged any counting stats for the Razorbacks.

The 6-foot-3 wide receiver never recorded an offensive stat with the team across two years with the team. After suffering a season-ending knee injury heading into the 2023 season, the sophomore wide receiver never got an opportunity to showcase his talents on the offense. No reports have indicated if he will enter the transfer portal.
