The 6-foot-2 wide receiver will look for a fresh start with a new program. In three season with Purdue, the senior wide receiver totaled 33 receptions for 445 yards and two touchdowns.

Scores first TD of season Rice caught all five of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 31-29 win over Maryland.

Impact Rice finished first amongst the Boilermakers' wide receivers in catches, yards and receptions Saturday after not seeing the field for undisclosed reasons over the past two weeks. The redshirt junior recorded five receptions for 90 yards on 12 targets through the first three weeks of the season, though he doesn't figure to serve as anything more than Purdue's fourth or fifth receiver in Maryland's crowded corps of receivers, including TJ Sheffield (17 receptions, 27 targets, 184 yards) and Tyrone Tracey (21 receptions, 27 targets, 149 yards) going forward.

Full go again this fall Purdue coach Jeff Brohm confirmed that Rice (foot) was a full participant during the team's scrimmage Saturday, D.J. Fezler of SI.com reports.

Impact Rice suffered a season-ending foot injury just three weeks into last season. The 6-foot-2 pass catcher was one of two wideouts to return to full participation this fall, alongside fellow junior TJ Sheffield (ankle), after sitting out the Boilermaker's spring practices due to injury. These two should help bolster Purdue's receiving corps after the loss of top wideout David Bell, who was selected in the third round of this year's NFL Draft.
