Impact McGill scored his fourth touchdown in the last two games Saturday, a 75-yard rush in the fourth quarter. He was completely shut down outside of the long run as his other four carries led to negative five yards. Still, he has clearly carved out a space in the Mean Green's backfield and has shown an ability to make big plays. While his workload will likely not be very high, he may be worth consideration as a dart throw after a productive last two weeks.

Impact Although McGill received the third most rushing attempts on the team, he received the goal line work and scored three touchdowns, two of which came from inside the four-yard line. With the Mean Green dealing with an injury crisis in the backfield, McGill, wide receiver Shane Porter and true freshman Kiefer Sibley have stepped up and played well. It's unclear what will happen to McGill when Zach Evans and Damashja Harris return, but McGill and Porter hold decent value until they do.

Stands out to open spring ball McGill has shown promise for a larger role as the Mean Green begin spring practices, Brett Vito of The Killeen Daily Herald reports.

Impact McGill, who didn't see the field during his true freshman season, "has had probably the most impressive four-day stretch of any running back we have on our roster right now" according to head coach Eric Morris. The 5-foot-9 freshman has a lot of opportunity ahead of him with Ikaika Ragsdale (undisclosed) working his way back from a season-ending injury, and an abundance of vacated touches following the departures of Ayo Adeyi and Oscar Adaway. McGill will look to keep up the pressure for a role as the Mean Green progress through the offseason.
