Still, Howard will miss most of the Ragin' Cajun's season, as that time frame sets him up for a November return at the earliest. In his stead, Daniel Beale should take over as the starting gunslinger.

Walker Howard - Requires surgery, likely OFS Howard is undergoing an undisclosed surgery that will shut him down from throwing for 6-8 weeks and possibly end his season, Kevin Foote of The Baton Rouge Advocate reports.
Impact Howard suffered an injury in the Ragin' Cajuns' season opener and was already ruled out for Week 2 before news of his surgery broke. Considering he won't be able to throw for upwards of two months means his season could be over. Regardless, Daniel Beale should be under center for Louisiana-Lafayette while Howeard is out. Howard logged 88 yards and an interception on 10-for-22 passing before sustaining the injury.
