Medically retires from football Bauman (knee) has medically retired from football ahead of Notre Dame's 2025-26 season, Tyler James On3.com reports.

Impact Bauman has suffered his fourth major-leg injury in the last five years (all in the same leg), this time sustaining an articular cartilage injury in his left knee. The 6-foot-5 graduate senior has decided to call it a career ahead of his sixth season in South Bend, closing his time with the Fighting Irish with five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown.
