Impact There must be a reason why Owens is relegated to a secondary role, because he does damage when he gets the ball. Last year he averaged 5.7 yards per carry and scored five touchdowns, but only got 80 carries. This year he's averaged 5.6 yards per rush and scored three times, but has gotten 21 carries through four games.

Impact On the one hand, Owens has run for 96 yards on 15 carries over two games. On the other hand, he's only gotten 15 carries over two games. Owens only had 80 carries in 2023, so he really need to become more of a part of the FIU offense before he can really make a fantasy splash.

Impact Owens' 23-yard run was the biggest play of the day for an FIU offense that could not solve Indiana's defense. Last season he averaged 5.7 yards per carry, so there is some big-play potential to keep in mind here.

Impact Owens has all of 34 yards receiving on the year, so those numbers aren't indicative of much. He has averaged 5.8 yards per carry, though, and has five touchdowns in 10 games.
