Impact Salter had a quick and unwelcomed stint with the Volunteers. He joined the program as an early enrollee in January and was suspended in early March only to be reinstated before summer workouts at the end of May. His second offense led him to be dismissed from the team which will certainly impact the future of the program. Salter was a four-star prospect in the 2021 class and was seen as a significant signing for the Volunteers, a team that has struggled with finding good quarterbacks over the years. He'll have four years of eligibility remaining at wherever he goes next.
