Leaves Longhorns' program Gibson is no longer with Texas football and is expected to redshirt and enter the transfer portal, per Pete Nakos of On3.com.

Impact Gibson played in four games this season, meaning he can write 2025 off as a redshirt year. He ran for 152 yards and a score on 37 carries for Texas' depleted backfield. The Florida native will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
