Could open season as RB2 Gibson is on track to open the season as Purdue's RB2 behind Fame Ijeboi but ahead of Antonio Harris, according to Tom Dienhart of On3.com.

Impact Gibson has stepped up in the fall camp and seems to have moved ahead of Harris in the race for the RB2 role. Gibson joined Purdue in the offseason after spending the last two seasons at Texas. In those two seasons, he totaled 429 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
