Jailen Holmes - Ruled out Saturday Holmes (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Oregon State's matchup Saturday versus Idaho State, Isaac Streeter The Portland Tribune reports.

Impact Oregon State will be without both Holmes and fellow receiver Jamai East (undisclosed) for their season opener. Holmes will now have to wait at least a week before he's able to make his season debut.

Jimmy Valsin III - Won't play vs. Idaho State Valsin is in street clothes and won't play Saturday against Idaho State, Isaac Streeter of The Portland Tribune reports.

Impact Oregon State will be shorthanded in terms of their depth at the wide receiver position, but there's no question the loss of Valsin represents a huge hit to their passing attack. Valsin recorded 11 catches for 154 yards and two scores in 2023 and is expected to play a significant role for Oregon State this season. He'll aim to recover in time for the Sep. 7 matchup against San Diego State.
