Joseph Manjack IV - Expected to play vs Cincinnati Houston coach Dana Holgorsen indicated Monday that Manjack (concussion) is expected to play this week against Cincinnati, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Manjack had missed the last two games to injury and is trending towards playing this week. Fellow wide receiver Matthew Golden (foot) is questionable to play, which could open more opportunities for the sophomore wide receiver. The 6-foot-3 wideout has totaled 35 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns this season.

Samuel Brown - Hauls in all nine targets in win Brown gathered in all nine targets for 86 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 25-24 overtime victory over Baylor.

Impact Brown has at least nine catches in three different games this year and projects to be the team's number one receiver while Matthew Golden deals with an injury. Even with Golden in the line-up, Brown has been a force with 53 catches (on 81 targets) for 764 yards and three touchdowns. The senior receiver has a good shot at posting his first 1,000 yard season with three more regular season games. They'll go up against Cincinnati next week.

Tony Mathis Jr. - Adds first career touchdown catch Mathis accrued five carries for 22 yards and reeled in both of his targets for 28 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 25-24 overtime victory versus Baylor.

Impact Mathis' touchdown reception was the first in his career as he has hauled in just 20 catches in his 26 collegiate games. It was also his first score of the season. The West Virginia transfer has not had a big role in the offense to date. Maybe this score and the first conference win will lead to more work moving forward. Houston will play Cincinnati next week.

It's actually surprising that he has just two touchdowns because he's receiving elite volume in a pass-happy offense. He should have a better opportunity to score at Baylor next week.

Impact Ale received some play for just the second time this season as he played seven snaps against Sam Houston in Week 4. Houston was dominated by the Kansas State defense and shut out for the first time this year. If Houston continues to struggle in conference play, it's possible they make the choice to bench Donovan Smith for Ale. Houston will play at Baylor next week.
