Stephon Johnson - Expected to see larger role next week
Head coach Willie Fritz said Saturday that Johnson should play a much larger role next week, according to Steve Helwick of SB Nation.
Impact
Johnson was cleared to play against Central Florida on Saturday after eligibility issues prevented him from suiting up to begin the season. The wideout did not record a statistic, though it is possible the team is easing him into the offense. Last season with Houston, he was limited to six games due to a season-ending injury, hauling in 13 receptions for 275 yards and two touchdowns.

Stephon Johnson - Cleared to play Saturday
Johnson has been cleared to play in Saturday's game versus Central Florida, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
Johnson, who's eligibility has been up in the air and has forced him out of the first part of the season, has now been cleared to play. The senior has caught seven touchdowns across his career with Houston and figures to play a solid role in the Cougars' high-powered offense now that he's available.

Johnson (not injury related) is dressed for Saturday's game but his eligibility reamins unclear, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
Johnson, who has not appeared in a game yet this season, is dressed ahead of Saturday's game. His eligibility still remains unclear though, so he may not be able to enter the game.

Muizz Tounkara - Available for Week 5
Tounkara (foot) is not on the injury report and should be available for the Week 5 matchup against UCF on Saturday.
Impact
Tounkara hasn't played this season, but the freshman wideout looks set to be available in Week 5. The 6-foot-3 wideout could finally suit up for the Cougars this weekend.

Jeffrey Strozier Jr. - Available versus UCF
Strozier (undisclosed) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against Central Florida, per the Big 12 availability report.
Impact
Strozier will suit up and make his season debut following a battle with an undisclosed injury. The wideout will add depth to Houston's receiving corps.

Evan Noel - Out vs. UCF
Noel (undisclosed) is questionable for Saturday's game against Central Florida.
Impact
Houston's roster will be without its backup kicker going into October. The placekicker has not attempted any field goals or extra points just yet with Jonathan Dimas providing stability at the position.

ROTOWIRE
Stephon Johnson - Questionable for Week 5
Johnson (not injury related) is questionable for Saturday's game against Central Florida.
Impact
If the Big 12 availability report is any indication, Houston's program is determining Johnson's availability based on whether he has cleared the fifth-year eligibility process. The wide receiver has been a reliable staple in UH's receiver corps for years, so the Cougars will wait as long as they have to.

Koby Young - Reels in touchdown Saturday
Young hauled in their only target for 22 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-28 win over Georgia Southern.
Impact
Young only received one target in Saturday's win, but he reeled it in for a 22-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It marked his fourth touchdown reception of the season, all of which have come in his last three games. While his single target in the game is concerning, his connection with Conner Weigman in and around the redzone makes him a solid asset.

Trent Walker - Productive in Saturday's win
Walker reeled in 6 of 7 targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-28 victory against Georgia Southern.
Impact
Walker had by far his best outing of the season Saturday, highlighted by his 23-yard touchdown reception which marked his first of the season. He also set season highs in receptions, targets and yards after a quiet first three weeks of the season. He'll look to build off this performance Saturday versus UCF.

ROTOWIRE
Amare Thomas - Touchdown streak continues
Thomas caught 5 of 6 targets for 50 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-28 win over Georgia Southern.
Impact
Thomas hauled in another touchdown Saturday, making it four straight games with a touchdown reception. He gained 50 yards on five receptions which is slightly disappointing for the senior, but his connection with Conner Weigman in the redzone continued to pay off. He'll look to extend his scoring streak again Saturday versus UCF.

ROTOWIRE
Patrick Overmyer - 68 yards Saturday
Overmyer hauled in 3 of 5 targets for 68 yards during Saturday's 42-28 victory against Georgia Southern.
Impact
Overmyer had another good outing Saturday, gaining 68 yards for the third time through four games this season. He now ranks sixth in the nation in receiving yards among tight ends and has accumulated an impressive 27 targets across four outings. He should be able to continue his good run of form Saturday versus UCF.

ROTOWIRE
Makhi Hughes - 84 yards in win
Hughes notched 16 carries for 70 yards and gathered in their only target for 14 yards during Saturday's 42-28 victory over Georgia Southern.
Impact
Hughes was outcarried by Re'Shaun Sanford (17 attempts) Saturday, and Sanford rushed for 50 more yards. While that's not great news for Hughes, Hughes still played well and still appears to be the team's No. 1 option, Sanford just had the hot hand versus Georgia Southern. However, given how well Sanford is playing, hopes of Hughes being the lone workhorse back are gone, though he has maintained good production while splitting the work.

•
ROTOWIRE
Re'Shaun Sanford II - Leads backfield Saturday
Sanford totaled 17 rushes for 120 yards during Saturday's 42-28 victory against Georgia Southern.
Impact
Sanford led the team in rushing attempts for the first time this season, narrowly outpacing Makhi Hughes (16 attempts). He was also much more productive than his teammate, totaling 50 more rushing yards over the course of the game. While Hughes is still the team's No. 1 option, Sanford has played well enough and is getting enough work to be a viable fantasy option alongside Hughes.

ROTOWIRE
Conner Weigman - Dominant in Saturday's win
Weigman completed 17 of 22 passes for 239 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 42-28 win against Georgia Southern. He also had six rushes for 14 yards with two touchdowns.
Impact
Weigman accounted for all six of his team's touchdowns Saturday, the most in his career. He completed over 77 percent of his passes in the win and threw a touchdown in each quarter of the game. Weigman's combination of passing and rushing upside makes him a very valuable fantasy asset and he's been productive against every type of matchup he's faced this season.
