GAME LOG

In walking boot during warmups Desrosiers (foot) is using a scooter and wearing a walking boot during warmups for Friday's game with North Carolina State, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Impact Dylan indicates that he will be out for the last game of Memphis' 2025 season. Having logged more than six games every year since 2022, the running back will have finished his collegiate career by sitting out bowl action to cap off this year. Despite occasional flare-ups with his health, Desrosiers logged a career year, with career-best tallies in rushing attempts (99), rushing yards (563), all-purpose yards (791) and touchdowns (eight).

Impact Desrosiers' struggles continued this week against Navy, as he has averaged 34.8 rushing yards in the last five games. The senior did continue to play a role in the passing game, recording his fifth game with at least four receptions. He caps off the regular season with a career-high 563 yards, seven rushing touchdowns, and 228 receiving yards.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
53 yards on the ground in loss Desrosiers tallied nine carries for 53 yards and hauled in three of five targets for 30 yards during Saturday's 31-27 loss against East Carolina.
Impact Desrosiers continued to have trouble creating much on the ground, but was used heavily in the passing game once again. The senior has 21 receptions over the last five games and has made up for his lack of production on the ground in the passing game.
NOVEMBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Quiet night against Tulane Desrosiers had eight carries for 35 yards and gathered in four of five targets for 37 yards during Friday's 38-32 loss to Tulane.
Impact Desrosiers wasn't too effective on the ground for the third game in a row Friday night. The senior did have four receptions and has reached that number in four of the last five games.
NOVEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in third straight game Desrosiers had seven carries for 28 yards and one touchdown and gathered in all two targets for 16 yards during Friday's 38-14 win versus Rice.
Impact Desrosiers only racked up 28 yards on the ground Friday, his second-lowest total of the season, but did find the end zone for a third straight week. The senior's seven carries were his least amount since he had four in Week 1 against Chattanooga.

OCTOBER 25 • ROTOWIRE

OCTOBER 19 • ROTOWIRE
Catches a touchdown in win Desrosiers posted 14 rushes for 53 yards and reeled in all four targets for 25 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-7 victory against Tulsa.
Impact Following his three-touchdown game last week against FAU, Desrosiers didn't have as much success on the ground Saturday, but did record his first receiving touchdown score of the year. The senior hasn't caught the ball out of the backfield much this year, but it'll be interesting to see if it starts to become part of the game plan after his four receptions this week.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Reaches 200 yards on the ground Desrosiers compiled 19 carries for 204 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 55-26 win versus Florida Atlantic.
Impact Desrosiers had one of the best performances in college football this week, posting his first career 200-yard performance to go along with three scores. The senior came into Saturday with only 58 rushing yards on 13 carries, as Sutton Smith seemed like the lead running back, and it will be interesting to monitor how the carries are split going forward.

Dressed and warming up Desrosiers (lower leg) is dressed and warming up ahead of Saturday's game versus Arkansas, Frank Bonner II of The Daily Memphian reports.
Impact Desrosiers, who missed the last two games with a lower leg injury, is trending towards making his return Saturday versus Arkansas. Him warming up pregame does not guarantee his availability, but it's certainly a good sign.
SEPTEMBER 20 • ROTOWIRE
Once again day-to-day Desrosiers (lower leg) is day-to-day, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Impact Desrosiers was day-to-day before Memphis' latest game Saturday against Troy. He did not play then. Still, his most recent update indicates that the Tigers may use him during their upcoming matchup, currently Sept. 20 against Arkansas.
SEPTEMBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Officially out Saturday Desrosiers (lower leg) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Troy, John Maddox of On3.com reports.
Impact Desrosiers was spotted with a boot on during last week's game against Georgia State, and he'll now miss his second game of the season at Troy. The 5-foot-11 senior tallied four carries for 26 yards and a touchdown during Memphis' opener in Week 1. His next chance to see the field will be next Saturday against Arkansas back home.
SEPTEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Held out of early warmups Desrosiers (lower leg) is not on the field for Memphis' early warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Troy, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Impact Desrosiers, who was spotted with a boot on during last week's game against Georgia State, has yet to take the field ahead of Saturday's game against the Trojans. The 5-foot-11 senior, who tallied four carries for 26 yards and a touchdown during Memphis' opener in Week 1, projects to be the Tigers' lead option when healthy. If Desrosiers is ultimately unable to suit up, Sutton Smith would be expected to handle another heavy workload in Week 3.
SEPTEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Officially day-to-day Desrosiers (lower body) is day-to-day for Memphis, per John Maddox of On3.com.
Impact Desrosiers reportedly traveled with Memphis for its road game against Georgia State, but the tailback simply wasn't ready to play from an injury standpoint. The fact that he traveled with the team and appeared to give it a go is a good sign for Desrosiers, who will get his next chance to play Saturday against Troy.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Officially ruled out Desrosiers (lower body) has been spotted in a boot and isn't available for Memphis in Week 2, per Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Impact Desrosiers wasn't spotted in warmups, but seeing him not dressed out and in a boot serves as official confirmation that the starting tailback will be out. Sutton Smith should assume the lead halfback role for Memphis in Week 2.
SEPTEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Not spotted in warmups Desrosiers (lower body) is absent from warmups ahead of Saturday's game versus Georgia State, John Maddox of On3.com reports.
Impact Barring a late addition to warmups, it's safe to assume Derosiers will not take the field in Saturday's contest. Assuming that's the case, Sutton Smith should claim the lead backfield role for the Tigers, while Frank Peasant and Makari Bodiford are candidates to see some work behind him.

Impact Echoing the words of Sutton Smith, who revealed Sunday that Desrosiers hadn't suffered a long-term injury, it seems the star tailback could have an outside chance to be available to face Georgia State on Saturday. Prior to the injury, Desrosiers had accumulated 26 yards and a touchdown on four attempts for the Tigers. If he's unable to play Saturday, then Sutton and Frank Peasant are expected to see more carries out of the backfield.

Avoids serious injury Fellow running back Sutton Smith revealed that Desrosiers (lower body) is all good and did not suffer a serious injury in Memphis' season opener against Chattanooga, per Jonah Dyla...
Impact Desrosiers exited the contest due to a lower body ailment but appears to have avoided a serious injury. It's very good news for the 5-foot-11 running back after he previously missed a good portion of the 2024 season with a broken clavicle and earned the top spot on the depth chart heading into 2025. Prior to the injury, Desrosiers had accumulated 26 yards and a touchdown on four attempts for the Tigers. Despite the positive news, his status will remain worth monitoring throughout the week leading up to the team's matchup against Georgia State.

Impact Desrosiers left the game in the first quarter and didn't return.
