Juelz Goff News, Rumors, Updates - Boise State Broncos | FOX Sports

Standing out in practice Goff has stood out amongst a proven running back room during Boise State's fall camp, according to Nathan Carroll of 247Sports.com.

Impact Goff transferred to Boise State this past offseason after a productive 2025 campaign at Pittsburgh, where he maximized his carries by rushing for 270 yards and five touchdowns on 69 attempts. He now faces a significant challenge in earning a share of the workload, since he is working behind an elite backfield duo in Dylan Riley and Sire Gaines through the course of fall practices. Despite the challenge, the tailback has been noted for his speed and explosiveness that are helping him pressure the starters. Goff has more practices ahead of him to try and earn consistent touches this season, yet it won't be an easy task with the established duo ahead of him.

Lands at Boise State Goff will transfer to Boise State, per Mitch Corcoran of Inside Pitt.

Impact Goff spent two seasons at Pitt, and was a real part of the running back rotation in 2025 with 270 rushing yards and five scores on 69 carries. The tailback, who has three seasons of eligibility remaining, will now join the Boise State backfield, where he'll look to continue to get more involved as his career progresses.

17 carries in big win Goff tallied 17 rushes for 59 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 2 of 3 targets for 28 yards during Saturday's 48-7 victory against Boston College.

Impact Pitt was without starting running back Desmond Reid (lower body) for a second straight game. Saturday's game script was significantly more positive for Goff, as he handled 17 carries while the Panthers led by several scores. He outcarried Ja'Kyrian Turner 17 to 12, though Turner produced more yardage. Both backs scored a touchdown. If Reid remains sidelined, look for Goff to see significant touches, though his split with Turner could move forward.

Splits carries sans Reid Goff posted seven carries for 32 yards and reeled in all two targets for 12 yards during Saturday's 34-27 defeat against Louisville.

Impact Goff was seemingly headed toward a featured role in Week 5 due to the absence of Desmond Reid (lower body). However, Goff worked in a near-even split with Ja'Kyrian Turner. Though Goff saw one more carry than Turner, he finished with four fewer yards. Even if Reid continues to miss time, Goff shouldn't be expected to see a workhorse role.

Starting Saturday versus Louisville Goff is starting at running back for Saturday's game versus Louisville, Stephen Thompson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Impact With Desmond Reid (lower body) out, Goff is set to lead the Panthers' backfield against Louisville. Goff has rushed 21 times for 84 yards this season, so it will be interesting to see what he does with a bigger workload.

Scores first career TD Goff notched seven rushes for 31 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 61-9 victory against Duquesne.

Impact Goff saw back-to-back carries inside the five yard line, picking up four yards on his first attempt before punching it in from one yard out for his first career touchdown. The second-year tailback saw one fewer carry than Desmond Reid, but that was largely due to the lopsided score. Reid is expected to be the clear top option going forward, though Goff could see some more carries if he performs well. Goff rushed 17 times for 42 yards and caught six passes for 53 yards in three games last season.
