Considered day-to-day Head coach Don Brown said Wednesday that Dzuro (knee) is day-to-day, Kyle Miller of WMUA Sports reports.

Impact Dzuro started Saturday's game against Liberty, but he was forced out of the contest during the first half after he suffered what looked like an apparent knee injury. Before his departure, the 200-pound quarterback completed 5-of-7 passes for 83 yards. Dzuro's availability for Saturday's matchup versus Buffalo remains up in the air, but his participation in practice throughout the next couple days should provide more clarity if he'll be able to suit up this weekend. If not, Gino Campiotti appears like the next option under center for the Minutemen.

In no-contact jersey Dzuro sported a no-contact jersey during practice Tuesday, Kyle Grabowski of the Daily Hampshire Gazette reports.

Impact Dzuro still has some time to shed it before the opener against Pitt on Sept. 4 and shouldn't be expected to play barring an injury to starter Tyler Lytle. Dzuro appeared in three games for the Minutemen last season, completing just 41.7 percent of his pass attempts for 220 yards and a 0:2 TD:INT ratio.
