Listed as co-starter for opener Vasko is listed as a co-starter at quarterback for Liberty's season opener against Maine, Bryson Gordon of NewsAdvance.com reports.
Impact Vasko has been in a two-man competition for the Flames' QB1 role with Ryan Burger throughout the entirety of the offseason. It appears this battle will extend into the season with both quarterbacks possibly getting playing time in the season opener. Only one will prevail, but Week 1 could be a test week for the coaching staff to determine their guy moving forward.

Entering portal Vasko is entering the transfer portal, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
Impact Vasko helped Coastal Carolina's team earn bowl eligibility by logging three passing touchdowns and a rushing TD when the team won at Georgia State in Week 14. Considering that Noah Kim also decided to enter the transfer portal, the Chanticleers' quarterback room is relatively thin going into their bowl game. Meanwhile, with two years of collegiate eligibility remaining, Vasko will focus on where he will spend throwing and running with the ball next season.

Impact Vasko was benched at the start of the fourth quarter after leading the Chanticleers to just six points in eight drives. Noah Kim was equally bad in Vasko's place, resulting in Vasko getting reinserted for CCU's final drive. Vasko threw an interception on the possession. Regardless of who's under center against Georgia State in Week 14, Coastal Carolina should quarterbacks should be avoided in fantasy.

On the year, Vasko has compiled 1,551 passing yards and a 10:4 TD:INT while adding 337 yards and four scores as a rusher.

Vasko has 1,401 passing yards, four interceptions, 285 rushing yards and 12 total touchdowns in eight games.

Splitting reps in practice Vasko is splitting reps with Noah Kim in practice as Coastal Carolina is unsure about a starter for Saturday, Julia Kennedy of WBTW News 13 reports.
Impact Vasko hasn't played since Week 8, when he was benched after the first quarter of the Chanticleers' game against Louisiana after completing 3 of 10 passes. Kim, meanwhile, was solid in relief of the starter, throwing for 182 yards and two touchdowns while completing 64 percent of his passes. Coastal Carolina appears unsure who it wants to start this week quite yet, and both gunslingers could reportedly play.

Benched after first quarter Vasko completed 3 of 10 passes for 10 yards during Saturday's 34-24 defeat versus Louisiana.
Impact Vasko started Saturday's game but was replaced by Noah Kim to start the second quarter after all three of Vasko's drives resulted in a punt. Kim finished the game 16-for-25 for 182 yards and two touchdowns, which could be a good enough performance to warrant a permanent QB change. Coastal Carolina has a bye in Week 9, and it's unclear if Vasko or Kim will be under center against Troy in Week 10.

Struggles against JMu Vasko completed 5 of 18 passes for 84 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Thursday's 39-7 defeat to James Madison. He also had four rushes for 38 yards.
Impact Vasko went 4-for-5 for 82 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter but completed just one of his final 13 attempts with a pair of interceptions. He was replaced by Noah Kim late in the third quarter, though it's unclear if the change was due to bad play or the lopsided score. Regardless, Kim didn't do anything spectacular and Vasko had been solid until now, so a quarterback change doesn't appear imminent.

Impact Vasko finished with his lowest passing output of the season Saturday despite setting a season high in completions. However, his 92 rush yards made up for the lackluster throwing performance. Vasko hasn't attempted more than 23 passes in a game in 2024 and he's logged just 512 yards through the air to pair with his 190 rushing yards.

In addition to his pair of 30-yard touchdown passes, the redshirt sophomore flashed his rushing upside, tallying 39 yards and a score.
