Most targets for a receiver Overby gathered in 1 of 5 targets for nine yards during Saturday's 16-13 victory versus Iowa.

Impact Overby tied tight end Benjamin Brahmer with a team-high five targets. Although he recorded just one catch, it does appear that Rocco Becht prefers to look his way. There's been an emphasis on the running game to start the season, so it will be interesting to see what happens when the Cyclones are forced to throw the ball a bit more. They'll play at Arkansas State next week.

Catches TD in the rain Overby notched two receptions (on four targets) for 29 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-21 win over Kansas State.

Impact Overby recorded his first collegiate touchdown in the rain while overseas in Dublin, Ireland. Rocco Becht threw a perfect pass to the redshirt freshman receiver which started the scoring for the Cyclones. Both Overby and teammate Brett Eskildsen scored their first touchdowns at Iowa State. It was a game that was dominated by the running game as the ball turned out to be slippery in the rain.
