Impact Duplessis is the focal point of the Delaware passing game. He's been targeted 69 times through eight games, and he has 43 catches for 593 yards and four touchdowns. After a few lost seasons at Coastal Carolina, Duplessis has found himself a proper college home.

Sean Wilson - Has over 100 yards Wilson caught five passes for 109 yards against Liberty on Saturday.

Impact This is Wilson's first 100-yard game of the season, and of his college career. The week prior, he had his first touchdown of the season. Things are on an upswing for Wilson, it would seem.

Nick Minicucci - Three TDs and an INT Minicucci went 29-for-49 for 344 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception against Liberty on Saturday. He also ran eight times for 37 yards and a score.

Impact Delaware was down 28-9 at halftime, which is to say that Minicucci had a lot of reason to air it out in the second half to try and make it a game. Minicucci has 15 passing touchdowns against four picks on the season, and he's rushed for eight scores as well. He started the season as the backup, but he's really made a case to start for Delaware (or another program) in 2026.

Impact Two touchdowns in a game is good, but this game is also a sign of how often Duplessis gets the ball in his hands for the Blue Hens. This is his fourth outing with at least six receptions.

Jo Silver - Better on the ground Silver ran 14 times for 51 yards and had two catches for 27 yards versus MTSU on Wednesday.

Impact This is good for Silver after he only ran for two yards last week against JSU. In that game he had four catches for 63 yards, though, and he's had at least 55 total yards in every game.

Nick Minicucci - Throws four TDs Minicucci went 27-for-42 for 276 yards and four touchdowns against MTSU on Wednesday.

Impact Minicucci has been racking up touchdowns this season. This is his fifth game with at least three touchdowns, which is pretty impressive for the guy who was supposed to be the backup this year.

Connor Witthoft - Available Wednesday night Witthoft (undisclosed) is available for Delaware against Middle Tennessee on Wednesday night.

Impact Witthoft missed Week 8 against Jacksonville State, but the tight end is slated to return against the Blue Raiders. He's been a minor part of the passing game with six grabs for 44 yards this season, but he does have a catch in every game he's played.

Impact This is a nice bounce back for Duplessis, at least in terms of receptions and yardage. However, while he has 430 yards through six games, Duplessis also only has one touchdown against FBS competition this year.

Jo Silver - Saves day with receiving numbers Silver only ran for two yards on six carries Wednesday against JSU, but he added four catches for 63 yards.

Impact While Silver has averaged 5.5 yards per carry on the season, over his last two games he's averaged 2.1 yards per carry. However, in both of those two games he's been over 50 yards receiving.

Viron Ellison Jr. - All-time TD vulture game Ellison ran the ball eight times for 15 yards and three touchdowns against JSU on Wednesday.

Impact Ellison's longest run was four yards. Lead back Jo'Nathan Silver and even quarterback Nick Minicucci might quietly feel a bit irked Ellison got the chance to pound the ball into the end zone three times. His touchdown vulture-ing isn't the norm, though. These are his first rushing scores all season.

Impact The Blue Hens' defense couldn't stop JSU's torrid run game, leading Minicucci to throw the ball a bunch to try and keep the game competitive. For a guy that wasn't expected to start this season, Minicucci has held his own, and clearly his coaches believe in letting him throw the ball when needed.

Impact The Blue Hens' No. 2 tight end has six grabs for 44 yards this season. Witthoft has been a limited aspect of this passing attack, and if he's forced to sit out, Delaware's passing game shouldn't suffer. Elijah Sessoms will continue to take most of the reps at tight end.
