Impact Bowens led the Bulldogs in rushing for the first time last week as previously Nate Frazier had been the team's top back. For the second straight week Bowens has been the go to guy for Georgia. Unfortunately, Stockton and receiver Dillon Bell punched in all of the Bulldog's rushing touchdowns and Bowens upside could be hampered by goal line touches as Josh McCray continues to play the part of short yardage back.

Impact Bowens led the Bulldogs in rushing for the first time on the season as Nate Frazier has been the lead back throughout the year to this point. After a costly fumble in the second quarter by Frazier, Bowens was the main back for Georgia as he received 12 carries to just four for Frazier.

Impact Bowens was reportedly making a good impression during fall camp, and it may have translated to a regular role in the rotation this fall. That said, the opening depth chart is far from a guarantee that the carries will be doled out accordingly, but it's at least a good sign that Bowens may be in the mix after totaling just 16 carries for 58 yards last season.
