Impact Virginia is an ACC team part of a Power conference, which he was not part of during 2024. However, it was his best year yet. While enrolled at North Texas then, Morris logged 322 completions for 3,774 yards and 31 touchdowns. He also recorded 60 carries for 242 yards and four TDs on the ground.

He completed nearly 63 percent of his passes for 3,774 yards, 31 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and added 242 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He will look to end his season on a high note during bowl season.

Bounces back versus ECU Morris was 32-for-48 passing for 266 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 40-28 loss against East Carolina. He also had nine rushes for 39 yards.

Impact After back-to-back rough outings, Morris was able to bounce back versus North Texas. He threw three touchdowns in the first half, leading the Eagles to a 21-0 lead that he and the team eventually blew. He also added 39 yards on the ground, his second-most this season. He faces a very favorable matchup Saturday at Temple in the season finale in what is a must-win game in order to secure the team's bowl eligibility.

Impact Morris had another quiet outing Friday as he threw for under 250 yards and tossed two interceptions in his second consecutive game. After completely dominating his first five AAC games, Morris has come back down to earth in his last two. He faces two favorable matchups to end the season so he has a good chance to get back on track as the Eagles fight for bowl eligibility.

Impact Morris faced a very difficult matchup Saturday and was not able to work his way to a productive outing. He threw for over 400 yards for the third time this season and tossed three touchdowns for the fifth time in seven games. He ranks second in the country in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, only behind Heisman contender Cam Ward. He also showed off his legs Saturday as he scored a 49-yard rushing touchdown and finished the game with a season-high 71 rushing yards. He faces a couple of difficult matchups in his next two games, but he has been too productive to look elsewhere.

He now has three games this season with four or more touchdown passes and is currently tied with Cam Ward for the most touchdown passes in the country with 20. He has a tough next three games versus the best team's in the conference, but he should pass the ball enough to remain productive.

After a rough outing in Week 3, Morris has bounced back with back-to-back elite performances. He has a bye week in Week 6 and then returns to a favorable matchup at FAU in Week 7.

With only conference games for the rest of the season, he should be able to put up nice numbers especially against the struggling teams.
