Impact Beck could still see playing time after getting work with the first-team offense in warmups, but Bennett is expected to be the starter.

Candidate to start Saturday Beck and Stetson Bennett are the two quarterbacks most likely to start for Georgia against UAB on Saturday, Seth Emerson of The Athletic reports.
Impact Emerson's initial report pegged Beck as the likely replacement under center for JT Daniels (oblique), but it could be Bennett instead who gets the starting nod. Barring a late change of mind from the coaching staff, Daniels is slated to sit out and whoever replaces him could supply some value in daily formats. At this point, it's a two-horse race for those honors and we may not know the answer to that question until pregame warmups.

Impact JT Daniels is dealing with an oblique issue, leaving Georgia to explore its depth options. Beck appears to be the next man up instead of Stetson Bennett or Brock Vandagriff. Daniels has yet to be officially ruled out, but the signs are pointing towards Beck getting the nod. Beck, a second-year quarterback, has yet to throw a pass in a game for the Bulldogs.
