Officially starting for Dukes Ross is listed as a starter for James Madison in its Week 1 depth chart.

Impact Ross, who transferred from UConn following a breakout 2023 campaign, has locked down a starting wide receiver role with the Dukes. It comes as little surprise following his 44-catch, 552-yard season in Storrs last fall.

Breaks foot in preseason Ross broke his foot and will likely miss the 2022 season, Joe Arruda of the Hartford Courant reports.

Impact Ross was set to be one of Uconn's top wide receivers this season behind Keelan Marion, but he will likely be sidelined for all of 2022. This injury comes after Ross broke his other foot last season. Prior to his injury in 2021, Ross had eight receptions for 60 yards.

Healthy for spring ball Ross (undisclosed) is healthy and participating in spring ball, The Bristol Press reports.

Impact Ross began 2021 strong with eight catches for 60 yards on 17 targets over the first two gams, but he missed the remainder of the season due to injury. It appears the offseason has allotted him enough time to recover and Ross should be back in the mix for the Huskies this fall.
