Limited playing time in opener
Coleman (undisclosed) played three snaps without garnering a target during Vanderbilt's 45-3 season opening win over Charleston Southern.
Impact
Coleman was previously listed as questionable for Saturday's opener due to an undisclosed injury, but the 6-foot-5 tight end was able to suit up for the Commodores. Despite logging three snaps, Coleman did not see a target, and as the third tight end on the depth chart, isn't likely to see a large role within the Vanderbilt passing attack moving forward. His next chacne to make an impact will come against Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Stellar in spring ball
Coleman stood out during Vanderbilt's spring practices, Joey Dwyer of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Coleman put on a show during Vanderbilt's spring practices, with Joey Dwyer of 247Sports.com calling him the "Offensive star of the spring". The 6-foot-5 sophomore tight end, who tallied two receptions for 29 yards during the Commodores' spring game this past Saturday, looks like a prime candidate to replaced Eli Stowers when the senior tight end graduates.

Upgraded to probable
Coleman (collarbone) is listed as probable for Saturday's game at Missouri.
Impact
Coleman was listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report and has now been upgraded to probable. It's a great sign for the true freshman as he's trending towards making his collegiate debut Saturday. It's unclear how much he will play, but it's a positive sign that he's close to healthy nonetheless.

Questionable for Week 4
Coleman (collarbone) is listed questionable for Saturday's contest against Missouri.

Back at practice
Coleman (collarbone) is back at practice for the Commodores, Aiden Rutman of the Vanderbilt Hustler reports.
Impact
Coleman broke his collarbone this offseason, and consequently hasn't seen any playing time thus far in 2024. The tight end is buried on the depth chart regardless as a true freshman, but his return to practice is a big step in the right direction for the young pass-catcher. His availability for Week 4 against Missouri is still in question, however.
