College football latest: AP Top 25 poll ranks Ohio State in the top spot

In the first AP Top 25 college football poll rankings of the regular season, the Ohio State Buckeyes take the lead, followed by Penn State at No. 2 and LSU at No. 3

Kiael Kelly - 22 rushes in blowout Kelly was 10-for-16 passing for 87 yards during Saturday's 31-0 defeat to Purdue. He also had 22 rushes for 63 yards.
Impact Kelly struggled to get things going against the Boilermakers' defense, with just 87 passing yards and barely any usage. The starting quarterback instead turned to the rushing side of the offense to try and get rolling, but he couldn't capitalize much off 22 carries. He'll have to take on an even tougher defense at Auburn next week.
