Transfers to South Florida Winfield will transfer to South Florida, per the program's 2026 roster.

Impact Winfield spent two seasons at Baylor and the following two seasons at Colorado State. The wideout was far more productive in Fort Collins, and is coming off a solid season in which he reeled in 22 catches for 276 yards and two touchdowns across 10 games. He'll now take his talents to Tampa, where he has one more season of eligibility remaining.

Impact Colorado State couldn't get much going through the air Friday, though Winfield would ultimately finish as the team's leading receiver with all of his production coming on a 49-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his first of the year. Through four games, Winfield has totaled 13 receptions (on 20 targets) for 203 yards.

Leading wideout Saturday Winfield had six receptions (on eight targets) for 93 yards during Saturday's 17-16 defeat against Texas-San Antonio.

Impact It was an encouraging performance from Winfield, who led the Rams in receptions, targets and receiving yards. After he was held without a catch in CSU's opener, Winfield's responded with 10 receptions for 142 yards in his last two games. The redshirt junior should maintain a sizeable role in the offense next week against Washington State, with Jackson Brousseau getting another start at quarterback.

Impact Winfield, who missed spring practices due to an undisclosed injury, is back in practice to start fall camp. Given the injury did not appear to be too serious during the spring, he is expected to be fully ready for the start of the season.

The 6-foot-2 Winfield made the most of the opportunity, topping 100 yards for the first time in his career thanks to a 62-yard touchdown grab that extended CSU's lead to 31-21 in the fourth quarter. Winfield is up to 178 yards and two touchdowns on 15 receptions in his first season with the Rams. He totaled 100 yards on eight grabs in his previous two seasons at Baylor.
