Impact Texas Tech's football team recently competed against and defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday. During the second quarter, Morton suffered a problem-creating sack, which resulted in his injured knee's current hyperextension. Despite current soreness, Morton's knee X-ray and MRI came out negative. Though the quarterback's injury is not incredibly serious, it caused his questionable status for Week 2 against Kent.

Terrance Carter Jr. - Successful debut at Texas Tech Carter caught all three targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 67-7 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Impact Carter also lined up in the wildcat formation which signals that it's likely to be a huge year for the transfer tight end. The Red Raiders are all-in for the 2025 season when it comes to an explosive offense and Carter could be one of the most impactful pieces in their arsenal. With a pair of scores in his season debut, he's a must-start in fantasy rosters when the team plays Kent State next week.
