Impact The former Maryland Terrapin and Temple Owl has found a home for his fifth season of college football. Littleton logged a career high in carries in 2024 with Temple, tallying 93 handoffs for 305 yards. That, however, was also the worst efficiency of his career (3.3 yards-per-carry). He did add an element of receiving out of the backfield to his game, reeling in 16 catches for 134 yards and a score. He should have a great chance to thrive in the Rhode Island backfield in 2025.

Impact Although EJ Wilson was the first Owls' running back on the field Saturday, after he lost a fumble in the second quarter, Littleton took over the role. He finished the day with over 100 yards from scrimmage on 16 touches, more than double the amount EJ Wilson and Joquez Smith had. While the team has made it clear that all three running backs will receive work, Littleton is starting to emerge as the leader.

Impact Littleton acted as the clear No. 1 running back Saturday, leading the team in rushing attempts in yards. His newfound role was not a lucrative on though as he gained just 25 yards on 10 touches. It may be tough for Littleton to have a productive season given the Owls will have to throw the ball early and often based on how the defense has played through two weeks.
