2026 NFL Second-Round Mock Draft: 49ers Open Friday With High-Upside Defender

Out for bowl, draft sole focus Williams (undisclosed) is out for the Pinstripe Bowl and will shift his focus to the 2026 NFL Draft, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.

Impact Williams, who will forgo one year of collegiate eligibility, declared for the 2026 NFL Draft less than a week before Blau's latest update, so the wide receiver being out for the Pinstripe Bowl assures that professional football is his next focus. In three of four seasons with Clemson, Williams logged at least 50 receptions, 600 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Impact Williams will enter the 2026 NFL Draft, foregoing his remaining eligibility. The wideout's status for Clemson's tilt with Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl is uncertain, as he has yet to specify his status. The receiver was a problem all four years with the Tigers, and he totaled 2,336 receiving yards and 21 receiving touchdowns, while picking up 179 yards and two scores on the ground.

Impact Williams' 75 total yards won't jump off the page, but that's the highest total he's recorded since Week 10 against Duke and his third-highest yardage output this fall. Williams' 2025 campaign was cut two games short with an injury, and even when he did play, he wasn't as dynamic was we've grown accustomed to seeing, as the Tigers' offense sputtered through parts of the season. He still reeled in 55 grabs for 604 yards and four touchdowns, but now appears to be out of eligibility and figures to set his sights on the NFL.
