Emerges as leading rusher Henry tallied 13 carries for 112 yards and one touchdown and hauled in three targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 42-21 win over Hawaii.

Impact Henry came into the day with just six rushes for 41 yards on the season before breaking out with 112 yards in Saturday's win, highlighted by a 33-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Henry, a senior transfer from UL-Monroe, led the Lobos in carries with 13 compared to Jacory Merritt's 10. Henry's shown he can be explosive in a limited role so far this season -- he could be worth monitoring as he appears to be carving out more of a role in New Mexico's backfield.

Joining New Mexico Henry announced via his personal Twitter account that he's committed to transfer to New Mexico.

Impact Henry is now slated to suit up for the Lobos next fall following his two-year stint at Louisiana-Monroe. The 198-pound running back was the Indians' top backfield option during the 2021-22 season, but he ultimately couldn't maintain his starting gig throughout this past campaign.
