Makes return Saturday
Ejiofor (ankle) produced one rebound and one assist across two minutes during Saturday's 78-55 win over Oklahoma.
Impact
Ejiofor played a very limited role in his return after missing three games with an ankle injury. Though he did not attempt a shot, Ejiofor managed to grab an offensive rebound in his limited time on the floor. Ejiofor has played in a very small role off the bench in his first collegiate season, averaging 5.6 minutes per game.

Active pregame Saturday
Ejiofor (ankle) is warming up ahead of Saturday's game against Oklahoma, Michael Swain of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Ejiofor has missed the last three games while dealing with a foot injury sustained Jan. 30 versus Kentucky. In 19 appearances off the bench this season, the 6-foot-9 freshman has averaged 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds while playing 5.6 minutes per game.

Not spotted warming up
Ejiofor (ankle) wasn't seen warming up ahead of Kansas' top-10 clash with Texas, Michael Swain of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Ejiofor was reportedly expected to be out possibly until mid-February, so it's not exactly surprising that the freshman wasn't seen warming up. Still, it's worth monitoring his progress as he rehabs an ankle injury that's kept him sidelined since he got hurt against Kentucky. Should Ejiofor make a quicker recovery than expected, his next chance to play will come against Oklahoma on Saturday.

Could be out until mid-February
Kansas coach Bill Self said Monday that Ejiofor (foot) could be out 2-to-3 more weeks, Jordan Guskey of The Topeka Capital-Journal reports.
Impact
Ejiofor was forced out of Saturday's win against Kentucky with a left foot injury suffered during the first half. Self initially said Monday that the 6-foot-9 freshman could be out "for a while," so this new timeline would likely set his earliest possible return as the Feb. 14 game against Oklahoma State. Ejiofor has averaged 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 19 games off the bench this season.

Impact
Ejiofor suffered the injury in the first half and was ruled out prior to the beginning of the second half. It's unclear how serious the injury may be, but his next chance to take the floor will come Tuesday against Kansas State.
