Kam Jones - Slumping for MarquetteJones supplied 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Saturday's 59-57 loss to Xavier.
ImpactJones may have once been considered one of the best scorers in the nation, but the senior guard has hit a rough patch of late. Over his last three games, Jones is shooting 35.4 percent from the field and just 19.0 percent from distance, so it wasn't surprising to see Marquette take it's first conference loss Saturday and struggle with DePaul earlier in the week. He'll have a good chance to get back on track Tuesday when Marquette hits the road to face a last-place Seton Hall squad.

Marcus Foster - Producing in new waysFoster ended Saturday's 59-57 victory over Marquette with nine points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes.
ImpactFoster was by no means at the top of his game in terms of scoring versus the Golden Eagles, but he produced big on the defensive side of the ball in the big win. The senior guard tied his season-high of three steals, and he also put together a campaign-best eight rebounds. While he's averaging just 5.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in the last five games for the Musketeers, he's still come up big in other areas of the court when Xavier's needed it against tough conference opponents.
