Impact Freemantle was Xavier's top scorer in this game despite coming off the bench in what turned out to be his return to the hardwood following a three-game absence. The senior showed that his lower-body injury is a thing of the past. Freemantle could return to the starting lineup when Xavier takes on St. John's on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Impact Epps was a true game-time call for Friday's matchup, and he ended up logging four minutes off the bench. Epps had started in his previous 12 appearances, so he should return to the starting lineup once he's deemed healthier -- possibly against Marquette on Tuesday.

Prior to his DNP in the last game, Epps had started every contest and averages 15.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals on excellent 46/39/75 shooting splits.
