Impact Valencia was held out of Wichita State's conference opener against UAB on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury and could miss more time moving forward. The 6-foot-8 forward has averaged 2.8 points in 13.2 minutes per game since joining the Shockers in the off-season. His next chance to return will come against Rice on Wednesday.

Kenyon Giles - Nails eight treys Giles produced a season-high 26 points (9-17 FG, 8-13 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 75-70 win over UAB.

Impact Giles had his fifth 20-point game of the season and played the entire game. He has played at least 31 minutes in his five games and looks like he will do heavy lifting from the guard position for the Shockers. Giles has taken at least 12 shots in nine of his last 10 games. The Shockers head to North Carolina to take on Charlotte on Saturday.

Daniel Rivera - Scores 18 in loss Rivera produced 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 75-70 loss to Wichita State.

Impact Rivera has been on a nice shooting streak. In his last four games, the 6-7 senior has converted 71.4 percent (20-of-28) from the field on his way to 13.0 points. He has scored in double digits in three of the last four games after being held to single-digit scoring in four straight games.
