Impact The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 6.6 points and 2.4 rebounds over 36 games with Dayton last season. His addition gives coach Paul Mills another experienced option on the wing and helps address roster needs heading into next season.

Impact Long is approaching his sixth season of college ball. As a fifth-year senior in 2025-26, he finally became a full-time starter, averaging 12.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists with George Mason. Now, he'll take his talents to the Shockers, where he'll look to compete for starting point guard duties. Long can also notably fill it up from distance; he shot 37.7 percent from three on nearly four attempts per game last season.

Impact Frison will look to bring his sharpshooting ability to the Shockers. In his lone season with Chattanooga, Frison averaged 16.4 points and four assists per contest while shooting 55 percent from the floor and 45.1 percent from deep. He's entering what should be his final season of eligibility.

Impact Thengvall played in just 11 games and averaged 2.5 minutes in 2025-26 with the Shockers. He's elected to run it back, however, and will look to crack the rotation in 2026-27.

Impact Couisnard missed the 2025-26 season, taking a redshirt freshman year. The 6-foot-1 guard has now officially committed to returning to Wichita State, where he'll have four years of eligibility remaining.

Impact Battie carved out a solid role with the Shockers in 2025-26, averaging 7.6 points and 4.7 rebounds across 17.2 minutes. He appeared in 31 games, starting 20 of them. Now, the 6-foot-8 forward is locked in for his junior season at Wichita State, and this is a nice retention for the Shockers.

Impact Berg started in 10 of his 35 appearances with Wichita State in 2025-26, and the big man will add depth to the frontcourt once again in 2026-27. He's coming off a junior year in which he averaged 8.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while playing a personal-best 21.9 minutes per game.

TJ Williams - Returning to program next season Williams will return to Wichita State for the 2026-27 season, according to ESPN Wichita.
Impact Williams is one of several players who announced their return to the program for the 2026-27 season. Williams could be in line for a bigger role in his sophomore year after averaging 8.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as a freshman across 35 appearances (16 starts) in 2025-26.

Impact Hill was limited to 23 appearances off the bench and just 4.2 minutes per game with the Shockers as a freshman, averaging 1.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. The forward will return to the program for his sophomore year in 2026-27.

Impact Gray Jr. is coming off a productive season for Wichita State in which he started all 36 games, averaging 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. The former Nicholls player was on his senior season of eligibility in 2025-26, but he's been granted an additional year and presuming he stays with the Shockers, he'll be a big returning piece in 2026-27.
