Impact
Battie saved his first double-double for the final game of the regular season as the Shockers clinched the two seed in the American Conference tournament and a bye in the semifinals. The Shockers won their last six games and Battie averaged 10.3 points on 54.6 percent from the field and 4.5 rebounds. The 6-8 sophomore joined the starting lineup on Jan. 11 and Wichita State went 12-3 with him as a starter.
