Impact Williams hit a driving layup with 22 seconds remaining that proved to be the game winner in the second overtime period. The 6-5 freshman had been held to single-digit scoring in his four previous games and scored more than 18 points for the first time. He took advantage of his offensive opportunities and bested his previous high score by six points while equaling his high in rebounds. Battie has started the last eight games after playing sparingly in the first half of the season. Wichita State hosts South Florida on Wednesday. Battie had seven points and six rebounds in the win over the Bulls on Jan. 18.
