Impact
Giles had his third 20-point game in his last four and ninth of the season. Other than a weird 2-point outing a loss to Florida Atlantic on Jan. 15, the 5-10 senior as scored at least 13 points with at least four 3-pointers in every conference game. Giles leads the Shockers with 18.4 points and 1.6 steals.

Battie moved into the starting lineup with TJ Williams (concussion) out. He made his first start of the season and set season highs across the board. The 6-8 sophomore came into the game averaging just 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.1 minutes. Battie may get a bump in minutes after his solid performance.
