Alvaro Folgueiras - Remains solid off the bench Folgueiras totaled 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 15 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Folgueiras has been another very solid piece for Iowa off the bench, particularly as a shooter: he's shooting 43.3 percent from downtown at 6-foot-10. Iowa has plenty of players coming off the bench who can hit threes and stretch the floor, part of what's made the Hawkeyes dangerous in their good start under first-year head coach Ben McCollum.

Brendan Hausen - 13 off the bench Sunday Hausen accumulated 13 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two assists in 19 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Hausen's 13 points were a season-high as the guard buried four threes off the bench as Iowa raced past Western Michigan. The senior guard is averaging just 5.1 points across 10.6 minutes, but he's also hitting 40.6 percent of his shots from distance. That makes him dangerous coming off the bench for Iowa.

Kael Combs - Remains rather quiet Combs racked up four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, five assists and one steal over 19 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Combs continues to play a minor role for the Hawkeyes. Even across the last seven games, in which he's been a starter, he's still only averaging 4.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists. He's been very unselfish and solid as a facilitator, but hasn't been all that assertive as a scorer. Combs remains a key cog for Iowa, but don't expect him to stuff the stat sheet any time soon.

Cooper Koch - Three triples in win Koch notched nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds and one block in 17 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Koch didn't offer much besides the three triples he buried, but he didn't need to as Iowa rolled over Western Michigan. The forward's long-range stroke has been dangerous this year, as he's hitting 50 percent of his threes on 3.3 attempts per game. Still, he has yet to really assert himself as a scorer, meaning he has yet to log a truly big game thus far in 2025-26. Still, with the way he's shooting the ball from deep, it could be just a matter of time.

Cam Manyawu - Perfect from field in win Manyawu totaled 11 points (5-5 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block across 13 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Manyawu looks to be hitting his stride with Iowa, as he's now notched double-digit points in three straight games. The center, who came over from Drake with head coach Ben McCollum, is shooting a career best 63.2 percent from the field this year. He'll look to keep it rolling against Bucknell on Saturday.

Tate Sage - Gets involved vs. Broncos Sage accumulated 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 win over Western Michigan.
Impact Iowa went deep into its bench in the midst of a blowout win over Western Michigan, and that allowed the freshman Sage to log another solid outing. Notably, he drilled three three-pointers, and has been solid from distance, shooting 36.7 percent early in his career in Iowa City. Sage has played at least 20 minutes in each of Iowa's last three games, and could be earning a bigger role moving forward.
DECEMBER 15, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Isaia Howard - Six and six off the bench Howard notched six points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 26 minutes during Sunday's 91-51 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Howard needed six shots to hit six points, but his inefficiency mattered little as Iowa rolled over Western Michigan. The bench guard also pulled down six rebounds, matching a season high. Howard has been valuable off the bench for the Hawkeyes this season, averaging 7.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
