Luke Loewe - Dishes out five dimes Loewe mustered five points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and five assists across 38 minutes during Friday's 73-69 win over Western Kentucky.
Impact Loewe has served as Minnesota's starting point guard to begin the 2021-22 campaign after transferring from William & Mary during the offseason. Although he hasn't had the same dominance that Marcus Carr had in the role during his time with the Gophers, Loewe has played at least 35 minutes in each of the first two games of the year, and he led the team in assists during Friday's narrow win.

Eric Curry - Paces Gophers in rebounds Curry logged 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 73-69 victory over Western Kentucky.
Impact Curry opted to return to Minnesota for a sixth year during the offseason, and he's taken on a starting role in each of the first two games of the 2021-22 campaign. Across those two appearances, he's averaged 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in 28.0 minutes per game.

Payton Willis - Drops 19 points in victory Willis totaled 19 points (7-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals over 36 minutes during Friday's 73-69 victory over Western Kentucky.
Impact Willis committed four turnovers in Friday's narrow win, but he made up for it with plenty of scoring and rebounding production. The senior has played at least 24 minutes in each of the first two games of the season.

Jamison Battle - Top scorer in win Battle posted 20 points (5-13 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 40 minutes during Friday's 73-69 win over Western Kentucky.
Impact Battle had plenty of playing time Friday since the matchup against Western Kentucky remained close, and he led the Gophers in scoring despite shooting just 38.5 percent from the floor. The transfer from George Washington has been heavily involved across his first two games at Minnesota.
