GAME LOG

Leaving Providence Cardet has decided to enter the transfer portal, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Cardet played at least 25 games every season from 2021-22 onward, as he had stints with Samford, Chicago State and the Friars. However, he's not expected to have any eligibility left for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
APRIL 22 • ROTOWIRE
Back in starting five Cardet will start for Providence on Saturday against UConn.
Impact Cardet was limited to a bench role in two games since returning from a knee injury, though the senior guard will rejoin the Friars' starting five in Saturday's matchup with UConn. Cardet's averaged 8.8 points and 3.2 rebounds across 22 minutes this season.
MARCH 1 • ROTOWIRE
Set to return Cardet (knee) will return on Wednesday against Georgetown, college basketball journalist Kevin McNamara reports.
Impact Cardet will return after missing four straight games and six of his last eight. The senior was a starter before his knee injury, averaging 9.3 points and 4.5 rebounds. It remains to be seen what capacity Cardet is at in this stage of his return, but regardless, this is good news for the Friars.
FEBRUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Not playing Saturday Cardet (knee) isn't suited up against Villanova on Saturday, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Cardet misses his fourth straight game for the Friars. The guard, who averages 9.3 points and 3.5 rebounds, will get his next chance to play against Georgetown on Feb. 19.
FEBRUARY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Once again day-to-day Cardet (knee) is day-to-day, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Cardet was day-to-day before the Providence-Butler game on Feb. 8. He did not play then. Ideally for Cardet, Providence's upcoming game includes him. Currently, it is scheduled to take place Saturday against Villanova.
FEBRUARY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Out Wednesday Cardet (knee) will not appear in Wednesday's game against Xavier, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Cardet, who was seen gingerly working out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Musketeers, will not appear in the contest. The 6-foot-6 senior will have his next chance to return against Villanova on Saturday.
FEBRUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Light warmups Wednesday Cardet (knee) is doing some light shooting ahead of the Friars' clash with Xavier, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Cardet still has no official word on his status, although the lighter nature of his warm-ups isn't the greatest sign. Still, the fact that he's warming up at all suggests there's a chance the guard could return after a two-game hiatus. Cardet averages 9.3 points and 3.5 rebounds this season.
FEBRUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
DNP Saturday Cardet (knee) did not play in Saturday's game against Butler.
Impact Cardet was held out of Saturday's contest, marking his second straight missed game while dealing with a knee injury. The 6-foot-6 senior has struggled to stay on the court recently, missing four of his last six games while playing just six total minutes in his two appearances in that time. Cardet will hope to hasten his recovery in order to return for Wednesday's game against Xavier.
FEBRUARY 9 • ROTOWIRE
Day-to-day with injury Cardet (knee) is listed as day-to-day, per Friars.com.
Impact Cardet missed the team's previous game against Creighton and has been held out of three of the last five contests for the Friars while dealing with a knee injury. The 6-foot-6 senior had been heating up prior to the injury, scoring double-digit points in six of his last seven games before going down. His next chance to return will come against Butler on Saturday, though with just six total minutes played in his last two appearances between missed games, a large role seems unlikely until Cardet can return to full health.
FEBRUARY 6 • ROTOWIRE
Not warming up Cardet (knee) isn't warming up ahead of Providence's clash with Creighton, Ian Steele of ABC 6 reports.
Impact Cardet only played one minute in his return from injury in the Friars' last game against St. John's, and doesn't appear as if he'll go Wednesday night. He didn't even partake in stretching, let-alone shooting and dribbling drills. His next chance to play will come against Butler on Feb. 5.
FEBRUARY 5 • ROTOWIRE
Game-time decision Wednesday Cardet (knee) is a game-time decision for Providence's game Wednesday against Creighton, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Available for Providence's game Saturday, the team limited Cardet to only one minute then. Thus, his Wednesday availability being a game-time decision should not be so surprising.
FEBRUARY 5 • ROTOWIRE
Active Saturday Cardet (knee) will appear in Saturday's game against St. John's, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Cardet will make his return to the court against the Red Storm after sitting out during two of Providence's last three games with a knee injury. The 6-foot-6 senior, who is averaging 9.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 24.3 minutes per game, will look to make an impact in his return.
FEBRUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Cardet, who sat out during last Friday's game against Villanova with a knee injury, has been seen participating in pregame warmups ahead of Saturday's showdown with the Hoyas. The 6-foot-6 senior, who is averaging 10.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 25.3 minutes per game after transferring in from Chicago State, will continue to have his status monitored as the Friars' approach tipoff.

This will be the second time Cardet will play off the bench this season.

Season-high 18 vs. Huskies Cardet ended with 18 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 87-84 loss to UConn.

JANUARY 6 • ROTOWIRE
12 point effort in victory Cardet closed with 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Saturday's 76-49 victory over Stonehill.
Impact Cardet put together a solid 12 points vs. Stonehill, and he also amassed a near double-double with eight rebounds. The 6-foot-6 senior looks to currently be filling into the starting lineup with forward Bryce Hopkins out for multiple weeks, and Cardet could even secure a starting spot after Hopkins if back if he continues to play at this level of efficiency.
