The Cavaliers are on the outside looking in with respect to a potential NCAA Tournament berth, however, as they've lost five in a row and are off to a 1-6 start to ACC play.

Impact Waterman missed his first game of the season against Virginia. It was a rest day, but his status is up in the air for the Cardinals' next game against SMU on Jan. 21. Waterman averages 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds.
