Impact While Slater remains a valuable glue guy who has started all 23 games for VIllanova this season, he's set to see a bit of a decrease in shot volume now that Justin Moore is back in the fold and freshman Cam Whitmore continues to be solid. Despite the increased competition for offensive looks, the fifth-year senior continues to be on pace for a career-best 10.6 ppg average in the 2022-23 season.

Impact Daniels is averaging 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.9 minutes per game this season, but his usage is declining slightly. Continued involvement for Cam Whitmore (nine points, 34 minutes) will cost Daniels some shot attempts, but Saturday represents a good indication of Daniels' floor.

Eric Dixon - Big numbers in loss Dixon ended Saturday's 66-61 loss to Creighton with 20 points (7-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 36 minutes.

Impact Dixon launched a season-high 18 shot attempts, but he wasn't overly efficient and struggled from beyond the arc. Overall this season, Dixon is connecting on 33.8 percent of 3.3 three-point attempts per game, however he finds himself in a 3-of-18 slump from deep across his past nine games.

Ryan Kalkbrenner - Quality contributions Kalkbrenner finished Saturday's 66-61 victory over Villanova with 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 37 minutes.

Impact Kalkbrenner and Trey Alexander (27 points) were the only Blue Jays to exceed 10 points, but Villanova's slow pace -- bottom-30 in the country -- was certainly evident as a factor. Kalkbrenner has been a shot-blocking menace in Big East play, averaging 3.1 swats per game.

Impact Alexander was responsible for nearly half of Creighton's points, fueled by hot shooting from beyond the arc. Saturday marked Alexander's first boom since a 32-point effort against DePaul on Christmas, but the sophomore has scored double-digit points in 10 straight games.
