Ruled out Saturday Brown is unavailable for Saturday's game against Alabama, Robbie Weinstein of 247sports.com reports.

Impact Brown apparently hurt his right knee early in the game against Kentucky on Wednesday but still was able to log 18 minutes. He also missed some time earlier in the year due to an abdominal issue so it's also possible he's out because of that. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Braelee Albert and hopefully will be feeling well enough to return against Tennessee on Wednesday.

In starting lineup Albert will start Saturday's game versus Alabama.

Impact Albert gets the nod in place of the injured Clevon Brown, who will miss the contest Saturday. The sophomore isn't himself too far removed from an ankle injury that cost him more than a month of action and he's logged a total of seven minutes in his two appearances since return. That begs the question of just how much workload he can handle, but Albert appears set to at least see some expanded minutes Saturday.

Limited to 18 minutes Brown had eight points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and a steal across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 82-78 loss to Kentucky.

Impact Brown exited the game in the first half to receive medical attention and was later spotted playing with a knee brace after halftime. There doesn't appear to be anything serious enough here to prevent the senior from taking the court, but it's possible Brown will be at less than 100 percent for the remainder of SEC play.

Back from ankle injury Albert (ankle) was credited with one rebound and charged with a turnover in six minutes of action in his return to the court Tuesday against Auburn.

Impact Albert was given clearance to return Saturday against Georgia but ultimately ended up sitting his ninth consecutive game. The sophomore is now officially available to return to a depth role at the wings, though the last-place Commodores seem to have a few more issues to worry about.

Impact Millora-Brown still hasn't taken the court since Jan. 16 despite reportedly receiving clearance to return this past Saturday against Georgia. The 6-10 junior was once a key piece of the Vanderbilt plans, starting the first five games of the season for the Commodores and averaging 4.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in that stretch. Since then, Dylan Disu and Ejike Obinna have taken over most of the center minutes.
