Tai'Reon Joseph - DNP on Monday Joseph (undisclosed) didn't play in Monday's season-opening win over Trinity.

Impact It's unclear why Joseph didn't step on the court in the season opener, and it remains to be seen if he'll be available for the Saturday matchup against North Dakota. Joseph averaged 20.5 points, 2.7 three-pointers made and 1.6 steals across his 19 games (16 starts) for Charleston Southern in 2023-24.

Damari Monsanto - Three three-pointers made Monsanto (knee) logged nine points (3-8 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 19 minutes during Texas-San Antonio's exhibition game Tuesday at USC.

Impact UTSA's latest exhibition showcased what Monsanto does best. In his first three seasons as a student athlete, the sharpshooter averaged multiple three-pointers made while shooting at least 35 percent from three. The redshirt senior's 2023-24 season was his worst from deep, as he averaged 1.5 three-pointers made on 34.7 percent shooting. But the season before, when Monsanto was not affected as much by some knee injury, he averaged 13.3 points and 3.2 three-pointers made on 42.5/40.5/86.8 shooting splits.
