Brent Moss - Collects double-double Moss accumulated 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 103-70 victory over Southwestern Christian (OK).
Impact The 6-6 Moss took advantage of extra playing time and collected one fewer rebounds than he had in all four previous games combined. He scored in double digits for the second time this season and helped the Roadrunners win their second straight game. Moss might get more playing time in next week's games against Abilene Christian and Georgia Southern.

Njie scores 23 off the bench, UTSA defeats Denver 84-79

Baboucarr Njie scored 23 points off of the bench to help lead the UTSA Roadrunners past the Denver Pioneers 84-79 on Saturday
NOVEMBER 15 • Associated Press
Baboucarr Njie - Goes for 23 points, 12 boards Njie produced 23 points (9-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 84-79 win over Denver.
Impact The 6-6 sophomore set career highs in points and rebounds and helped the Roadrunners snap a two-game losing streak. His previous highs were 11 points and 11 rebounds. Fouls have been an issue with Njie and he fouled out of the Wednesday loss to Texas State. He has a lot of potential and should be monitored.

Jamir Simpson - Scores 22 in loss Simpson closed Wednesday's 80-69 loss to Texas State with 22 points (6-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and four rebounds in 32 minutes.
Impact Simpson's scoring has increased in all three games. The 6-5 senior has already hit 10 3-pointers and is hitting 40.0 percent from long range. It looks like it might be a long season for the Roadrunners, but the team might have found its go-to scorer.

Ring Malith scores 20 as SIU Edwardsville beats UTSA 77-60

Led by Ring Ring Malith had 20 points in SIU Edwardsville’s 77-60 victory over UTSA
NOVEMBER 8 • Associated Press
Baboucarr Njie - Snags 11 boards Njie produced four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 24 minutes during Friday's 77-60 loss to SIUE.
Impact Njie was able to get some extra minutes because starter Matheo Coffi fouled out after 22 minutes with just two points. The 6-6 sophomore may be in line for more minutes. He was productive in the win over Christian Brothers in the opener with nine points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks. Njie should be a player to watch in the American Conferenc regular season.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Kaidon Rayfield - Snags 13 boards in blowout win Rayfield produced 13 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 97-30 win over College of Biblical Studies.
Impact Rayfield made his debut a memorable one in the 67-point win. The 6-8 freshman grabbed five offensive boards and was efficient in limited minutes. If he continues to start, Rayfield could be a player to watch, particularly in leagues that prize double-doubles.
NOVEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Austin Nunez - Scores seven as starter Nunez (foot) produced seven points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and two steals over 18 minutes during Wednesday's 97-30 win over College of Biblical Studies...
Impact Nunez did not play much last season with Arizona State, but the 6-2 guard will be a starter for the Roadrunners. The game against the CBS was a blowout, so the senior was able to test his injured foot in a largely non-competitive environment. UTSA may bring Nunez along slowly before American Conference play.
NOVEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Mo Njie - Returns to action in exhibition Njie (foot) logged one steal in two minutes of action in UTSA's 33-49 loss to Incarnate Word.
Impact Nije missed the final 20 games of UTSA's season last year while nursing a foot injury, but the center is back in action for the Roadrunners. He saw very limited action in the exhibition, so it's unclear how much time he'll see on the court in 2025-2026.
