Tounde Yessoufou - Scores 24 in debut Yessoufou accumulated 24 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 30 minutes during Monday's 96-81 win over UT Rio Grande Valley.
Impact Yessoufou made a strong first impression for the Bears, posting 24 points and seven boards in his collegiate debut. The freshman wing was efficient from the floor, shooting an impressive 62.5-percent while also draining a couple from beyond the arc. Yessoufou signed with Baylor as a top-10 recruit and is expected to play a major role for the revamped Bears this season.

Cameron Carr - Leads Bears with 28 points Carr finished Monday's 96-81 win over UT Rio Grande Valley with 28 points (9-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), five rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals across 34 minutes.
Impact The sophomore transfer from Tennessee earned the start and put together a career-best performance, posting career highs in points, boards, blocks and steals. Carr missed all but four games last season while dealing with a thumb injury but enters this season fully healthy. Carr was able to take full advantage of his opportunity and has made a case to remain in the starting lineup even after fellow transfer Juslin Bodo Bodo (arm) returns from injury.
