Impact With John Fulkerson unavailable after testing positive for COVID-19, Plavsic will make his second start of the season. The big man is averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game this season.

Starts in place of Fulkerson Plavsic started and had 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 17 minutes in Saturday's 103-62 exhibition victory over Lenior-Rhyne.

Impact Plavsic drew the start at center in place of John Fulkerson, who recently broke his thumb and was already reported to be sidelined for this contest. Fulkerson's absence isn't expected to be long, but the Vols seem to at least have a viable replacement in the 7-0 Plavsic, who is entering his third season with the program. Plavsic also served as the starting center in last year's opening-round NCAA Tournament loss, so he'll presumably take the reins if Fulkerson's return is delayed in any capacity.
