Impact Diggins had averaged 17.9 mpg across 20 games (10 starts) when healthy earlier this season, so it's a bit surprising to see the sophomore sit this one out despite apparently gaining clearance, especially with the Minutemen already deploying a nine-man rotation. Despite riding the pine Saturday, this does appear to be good news for his prospective return. His next chance to take the court will be Tuesday against Loyola-Chicago.
