Donovan Brown - Granted year of eligibility Brown has been granted a preliminary injunction in Ohio which gives him eligibility for the 2026-27 season, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Brown is eligible to play an extra collegiate season as a result of this ruling. He played sparingly last season with UMass, making 16 appearances off the bench and averaging 5.4 minutes per appearance. He will be able to enter the transfer portal in a special window should he choose to find a new school.

Jakai Newton - Transfers to UMass Newton will transfer to UMass, per Evan Newton of The Covington News.

Impact Newton averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds last season at Georgia State after beginning his career with four quiet games with Indiana as a true freshman. Now, the guard will play for his third program in three seasons and has two years of eligibility remaining.

Junjie Wang - Commits to UMass Wang has committed to UMass, Dushawn London of 247Sports reports.

Impact Wang spent the first three seasons of his career with San Francisco and appeared in 33 games (24 starts) this past season, averaging 8.5 points and 3.0 rebounds across 20.3 minutes per game. Given his success with the Dons, he will likely compete for a spot in the starting front court.

Abdullah Ahmed - Commits to UMass Ahmed is transferring to UMass.

Impact Ahmed will look for a larger role with UMass than the one he had with BYU last season, where he averaged just 1.3 points and 2.7 rebounds across 20 games. The 6-foot-10 forward has two years of eligibility remaining.

Impact Clayton has decided he'll close out his college career with the Minutemen after three years with Northwestern. The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 3.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 18.2 minutes this past season. He's set to be the starting point guard for UMass in his senior campaign.
